This device is suitable for the mechanical removal of sludge, sand, and floating slag in reverse flow sedimentation tanks and sand settling tanks. It is mostly used for initial sedimentation tanks, where reverse flow scrapes the sludge and discharges it downstream. The scraper mechanism lifts the scraper when not scraping the sludge back, and when it returns to the starting position, the scraper falls down.
Equipment structure and working principle
The equipment consists of guardrails, scraper trusses, scraper rakes and guide rails, scraper bridges, walking wheels, tracks, lifting mechanisms, drive wheels, etc.
The mud scraping mechanism lifts the mud scraper completely when it returns without scraping the mud. When it returns to the starting position of scraping the mud, the mud scraper falls down, and this process repeats itself. The equipment operates in the same direction to scrape the mud and slag. The mud scraper is lifted and lowered by the hoisting mechanism, and the floating slag scraper is lifted and lowered by the electric rod to achieve the purpose of scraping the mud and slag.
